‘Crime in use of plastic bags’

plastic is used in the service of food in hundreds of ways and in the manufacture of plastic bags which are considered indestructible or take a very long time to decompose. plastic pollutes seas and rivers, kills aquatic organisms, and destroys marine reserves and coral reefs; kills turtles, dolphins and other marine organisms once it is ingested in the body. consequently, many have warned of the dangers of plastic products.
i have already written several articles demanding to limit the use of plastic and even make consumers and buyers of products to pay for the plastic bags so that they will carry their own bags when shopping. the use of paper bags of all kinds has increased recently. some communities and countries have also stopped producing or using plastic bags for shopping.
but this subject has another aspect worth talking about.
plastic shopping bags were invented by the swedish engineer sten gustaf thulin in the early 1960s. its production was a beautiful thing. a plastic bag was better and cleaner and more elegant and lighter than all other means of carrying purchases from the market including meat and fish, vegetables and fruits to clothes and other purchases. the invention of the plastic bag solved the problem of annoying, unclean and unhealthy methods.
over time, however, many countries have been forced to ban the use of plastic bags because of their negative environmental impacts. should you go back to using paper bags, for example? or do we resort to multi-use cloth bags?
these are all impractical solutions, and also harmful to the environment. returning to the use of paper bags means cutting hundreds of millions of trees a year to provide paper-making material, and these bags are not suitable or strong enough to carry heavy or wet materials such as fruits and fish. it is economically difficult to grab. the use of cloth bags is harmful because of microbes, and it needs to be washed every now and then.
on average, a paper bag is used three times and then thrown out. a cloth bag is used dozens of times. the plastic bag can be used more than 130 times. thus, the problem is not the misuse of the plastic bag, but the refusal to recycle and reuse it for dozens of times, where we often reject it, throw bags in garbage bins, and do not deal with the waste in a scientific manner for sorting and recycling these materials which can greatly save the environment of our poor planet.
thus, the problem lies in the culture of society rather than in preventing or allowing the use of paper or plastic bags. note that what applies to plastic bags, which can be used for various purposes for dozens of times, does not necessarily apply to the rest of plastic products, such as containers, bottles, spoons, forks, plastic plates and many others, this is really harmful to the environment, and can usually be reused only if recycled industrially.
