Who will stem the rot sir ?

former mp jamal al-omar has a funny situation documented on the youtube. he is seen repeatedly saying mr president 20 times during one parliamentary meeting – without exaggeration – in an attempt to draw the attention of the speaker of the national assembly.
similarly, although we do not agree to all that the ex-mp says, we painfully repeat ‘your highness the premier’ please pay attention to us, listen to us, give your citizens something of your precious time, and read this article.
kuwait has been and continues to be a commercial country. its sole source of livelihood is trade with the sea, what is in the sea and across the sea. through modern history, kuwaiti traders have had a vital and important political and economic role to play with respect to the rest of the other components of the nation, which may have more important positions.
kuwait has recently begun to intensify its efforts to strive for openness to the world by trying to attract governments and international companies to invest and work in kuwait. this cannot be easy without a healthy business environment. the capital is cowardly, avoids problems and does not like unwarranted unjustified administrative complications.
i established my first company half a century ago, followed by a lot. my last experience with founding companies was just three months ago when i and others tried to establish two companies at the same time.
i have been struggling and striving with two representatives for more than 90 days. in the pursuit of incorporation transactions, i will inevitably need more than a month to end all the complexities and requirements with the government of the twenty-first century.
i do not exaggerate if i tell you that i have done dozens of visits, and each delegate has twice that of visits to the ministry of commerce, justice, public authority manpower, public authority for civil information, sentences enforcement department, criminal investigations department and other departments of the interior, environment public authority, the kuwait fire service directorate, the public authority for industry and the department of the kuwait municipality, which are too many.
during these visits, i paid and continue to pay fees and expenses more than two thousand dinars. i am sure that without my good relations with many parties, senior officers and staff who helped me to complete my transactions, with all my gratitude, love and respect for them, i would have waited for at least six months instead of 120 days.
the subject is not only connected to a complaint of delay and slowness of procedures, complexity of transactions, procrastination, the repetition of ‘come after a week’, or check after the eid holidays because this may change to better one day, the subject is also connected to the destruction caused by this system in corrupting souls.
this is a good environment and fertile ground because it is very difficult to accomplish anything without paying bribe. the destruction of souls and conscience is disturbing, and the silence of our wise government about this situation worries us more, some of us are prompted to believe that the deterioration of the moral situation in government agencies is a deliberate process.
your highness! who will tell these people they are wrong?
