‘Road to a brighter future’

despite the status of the supreme guide of the brotherhood that is not anything less ‘divine’ in the hearts of his followers, these followers have two iconic political worlds and role models in the name of the turkish president recep tayyip erdogan and the new prime minister of malaysia mahathir mohammad.
the success of turkey and malaysia from the industrial, economic and political point of view has always been the model example for the possible success of traditional religious islamic leaders.
what these naïve people do not realize or do not want to realize is that erdogan governs the secular republic of ataturk and his success is a result of turkey’s secularism. if it was not so, the number of visitors to turkey – the pillar of its economy – would not reach forty million.
if we compare turkey to iran, for example, which surpasses by a diverse human force and richness, we will find ankara has played more successful balanced role at the international level from the economic and industrial point of view and the number of people visiting the country. this is due to iran’s hardline religious system where the supreme leader does not allow anyone to run contrary to his will.
if we look at the second islamic force, malaysia, the more advanced, industrial and financial powerhouse in southeast asia, and the most politically stable, we will find that its secular democratic system is the reason for its successes.
in the last speech malaysia’s creative mind mahathir mohammad after his forced return from retirement at the age of 92 to correct what the former prime minister had spoiled said: “the energies must be channeled towards real fi les such as poverty, unemployment, hunger, ignorance, disease, while preoccupations with religious ideology and attempt to dominate societies, impose agendas, cultural and intellectual commandments on people will only lead to more congestion and conflict, and the muslims have spent more than enough time and efforts in conflicts between the shiites, sunnis and others.”
he went on to say, “malaysia was once the victim of these conflicts which were about to destroy the country, so we had to engage in an open dialogue with all the national components of the country without exception and agree on mutual concessions by each side so that we can bring stability and continue development and we have succeeded in transforming malaysia into a large and competitive industrial country. all thanks to the coexistence of our religious and ethnic components.”
this literally means that the application of secularism in malaysia and turkey has rescued the two countries from entering the dark tunnel.
now, what is the opinion of the brotherhood in the words of rajab and mahathir?
