Brothers’ continued failure
with the fall of (omar hassan ahmad) al-bashir, not the promising or the prudent in the sudan, fell the castle of injustice and darkness of yet another muslim brotherhood ‘outfit’ that ruled in the name of religion in a country rich in natural wealth that saw the spread of corruption, destruction of its economy which is lost forever and the most important and richest part of south sudan after sharia laws were imposed on a majority christian and pagans in the south who had nothing to do with it.
the brotherhood came to power in the sudan on the back of the notorious jaafar nimeiri, and from day one began applying their special sharia laws and continued for nearly forty years, and the final outcome was more loss, and suppression than what was seen in the last days of al-bashir, which ended with his overthrow – the man who is wanted by the international justice for crimes he has committed against humanity.
the brotherhood in the sudan was already eroded and faced the dark fate of egypt, where it was proved for the 100th time that they are not able to rule, so how come rule a country of such importance and size and complexity like egypt.
the collapse of their plans, the exposure of their conspiracies in the arab spring countries, the banning of their activities in saudi arabia and the bringing of their leaders in the uae to trial were other proofs of the party’s non-islamic and non-arab plans and inability to rule any state.
one of the paradoxes of this terrorist party in the sudan is that turabi was once at the head of the fundamentalist coup that took place in the sudan by army officers of the same religious orientation. but after a while the leader and inspirer of this coup was imprisoned by his fellow islamists themselves. how can they claim to be muslim brothers today and are not brothers and non-muslims tomorrow unless they were not really serious or loyal to their religious ideas?
was al-turabi’s arrest real or a camouflage? in either case, it is against them and their efficiency. turabi was behind sheltering extremist islamic forces into sudan after their departure from afghanistan and other countries, during the years when he was the jurisprudent of the rule and government. sheikh turabi is the first to make the sudan the headquarters of the movements such as of osama bin laden and other global terrorist networks.
the failure of the islamic experiment in the sudan is similar to the failure in egypt, tunisia and iraq; add to this the failure of other radical movements in iran, afghanistan and pakistan.
the majority of these movements were empty of any ideas or plans of rule or philosophy, and therefore wherever they ruled, they imposed the sharia laws which were confined to the imposition of the veil and sporting long beards and shortening their jilbab (garments), stoning to death and cutting hands and other things with a complete intellectual vacuum that only result in the loss of what was taken, but not before the destruction of everything – economic, social and political disasters, and the least the migration of the elite and bright minds abroad to escape from the yoke of injustice and enslavement, especially after the imposition of public lashing and tailored charges of apostasy.
traders in religion are left to manipulate and corrupt the economic system and not holding accountable religious bodies, encouraging waste of time by exaggerating the celebration of religious events, and diligence in distracting people from their real problems.
note: the brotherhood’s media machine reported that the french president canceled the municipality’s decision to open a turkish school. president erdogan responded by the closure of 70 schools that teach french in turkey, therefore president macron withdrew his decision. the news is false; there are only two french schools in turkey.
