The deceptive deputies

fiona onasanya, nigerian in origin, was born in 1983. she was elected to the british parliament on the ticket of the labour party, defeating the conservatives party candidate who had not lost the seat as long as the party was in power.
this great victory prompted fiona to announce her ambition to become britain’s fi rst black female prime minister. in july 2018, she was accused of obstructing the course of justice to avoid two speeding tickets in 2017.
fiona defended herself, on the first charge, by stating that she was in the car with her brother festus, and that someone else was driving the car.
as for the second charge, she claimed that her brother festus was the only driver. she then stated in court that she did not know who was driving the car, and made other confusing and contradictory statements.
she was re-tried in december 2018 and convicted unanimously for obstructing justice. her party membership was suspended and she was asked to resign as a member of parliament but onasanya insisted on her innocence and appealed the verdict.
in january 2019, she was sentenced to three months imprisonment and her brother was sentenced to 10 months imprisonment, subsequently, the court of appeal upheld the verdicts. the parliament then announced that she would be expelled if 10 percent of its voters agreed to terminate her membership.
this happened, ending her ambition to become the first prime minister of african origin and all because of a speed violation and a lie, we like to call it a ‘white’ lie.
and when we move to the state of innocence and purity, we find that some of the deputies are impersonating qualities other than their qualities and names other than their names, and help release prisoners, turn into success failures of students, sponsor criminals, and collect huge wealth illegally, loot societies and get themselves farms and chalets, and recruit thousands of workers for money, commit endless violations and long experience in arts of fraud.
after all this, they reach the seats of the national assemblies, kiss their heads and shoulders and no one dare ask them ‘where did you get this from’.
there is a great difference between those and fiona onasanya. a deputy loses her seat and all her dreams due to a lie, but in our case deputies come to the parliament after they have lied and abused and committed all kinds of wrongdoing.
