‘That what we had warned of’
abu al-tayyib al-mutanabbi – one of the greatest and influential poets in the arabic language says: ‘there is a cure for all illnesses, except foolishness.’
one who claims to be honest and honorable, and belonging to the muslim brotherhood party described me as a pedantic, ignorant, and shallow in thinking and a person of limited knowledge.
i have to say my daily article is widely read as i have been told; he therefore ignorantly accused me, of course. i don’t think readers will eagerly read my articles if i were ignorant, shallow in thought, or a person with limited knowledge.
i asked this claimant of honesty and honor to answer my question on how the muslim brotherhood seeks to reach power despite the fact that the founder of the group and guide rejected democracy and party system, while considering reaching power is an obligation imposed on every muslim and one of the pillars of religion such as the prayer and fasting? he did not answer.
we asked him and others, more than once, to explain the meaning and significance of the presence of two swords, and the word prepare (weapons) at the center of the brotherhood logo, and replied that the inception of the brotherhood coincided with the balfour declaration and the jews entering palestine, and the nation had to work hard to liberate the land from the colonial power who did not respect the will of the peoples, did not give any consideration to their freedom and dignity; therefore the guide was convinced that jihad for the sake of allah is the way to freedom from enslavement and foreign occupation.
this may seem wonderful, but has nothing to do with reality. the brotherhood of egypt was funded by the british intelligence from day one and has been busy engaging in and around egyptian politics, committing dozens of cowardly assassinations against judges, heads of government, and senior officers but have not fired a single bullet against israel during the past half a century at least.
the claimant also ridiculed the manner in which i described the brotherhood’s terrorist operations, and how i touched on issues that have nothing to do with terrorism, and this really proves ignorance.
intellectual terrorism is more dangerous and powerful than explosives or pistol terrorism. terrorism is not limited to the use of violence for political purposes and to gain power through individual or mass attacks or destruction of property but this is what the brotherhood is currently doing in egypt.
intellectual terrorism also means the attempt by political-religious groups to impose their ideas, attitudes, political or religious doctrines on others by force, an act of terrorism that uses the force of threat to interrogate and appoint an inefficient person to take senior positions.
each body gives itself the status of guardianship over others, as the brotherhood does and practices the most serious acts of terrorism.
all those who have joined the terrorist organizations have often done that not because someone practiced armed terrorism against them, but because they were subjected to intellectual terrorism and political deprivation. consequently, the types of terrorism that we have already touched upon, and which the ignorant mock, are the most dangerous because they destroy societies and divide peoples.
