Mrs Ghadeer’s bumpy road

the patients helping fund society runs hundreds of service centers in various hospitals and medical centers, and through them, they perform three very profitable business activities, due to the high prices of what is sold in them, including selling flowers and gifts, m a n a g i n g cafés and restaurants, nurseries, and so on.
the society justifies the huge increase in the prices of its products and services saying the profit it makes is spent on patients, but the honorable mp ahmad al-fadhel blew a scandal in the national assembly and revealed that a significant number of these stores or cafés are companies owned by deputies, including mp adel al-damkhi, about whom we had talked earlier about his relationship in this issue and his statement that he terminated or would terminate the management contracts he obtained through his company.
this statement refuted the claim that the profits resulting from high prices go to helping the patients because they, in fact, go to the pockets of deputies although the rents are so petty, and certainly will be best defenders of the society when necessary. we had earlier asked the society to deny these words, but it refused to respond and remained silent.
on the other hand, when mp adel al-damkhi was head of an association concerned with human rights, he rejected the request of the ‘bohra’ community to build a mosque and i do not know how this rejection to build a mosque is in line with a humanitarian association?
in the meantime, the answer was clear of the then minister of social affairs, hind al-subaih, to a parliamentary query submitted by the prominent mp ahmad al-fadhel that charity societies in kuwait, and two of them specifically, had succeeded in raising more than two and a half-billion dollars in the form of donations during the past few years and that these associations and that a majority of them are affiliated to religious parties.
if these funds were spent inside kuwait, they would eliminate all forms of poverty in society. so where did that money go?
from all of this, perhaps his highness the prime minister appointed mrs. ghadeer asiri to work with him and gave her the ministry of affairs portfolio in particular. this sudden assignment was enough to instill terror into the hearts of the associations and the forces of darkness, so they strived to stain the path of the minister, harassed her by exhuming her tweets, and pushed her towards resignation or embarrassed the prime minister in order to relieve her of her position.
however, the strong will of the minister and the premier’s support for her thwarted the plans of those, who i am certain, would not have objected to her posting if she was in charge of any other ministry and therefore they sought another way through the silliest parliamentary questioning in the history of kuwait’s parliamentary history.
