Cancer from Islamic view
in an interview with the egyptian doctor mahmoud gad which was published in a local newspaper, it was reported that religion is part of a program to prevent cancer. it was also said honey, dates, and milk help to recover from the disease, and miswak (miswak is a teeth-cleaning twig made from the salvadora persica tree. it is reputed to have been used over 7,000 years ago) and the black seed have the benefits of creating acquired immunity, and that 85% of women with cervical cancer are infected because their husbands are not circumcised. of course, dr. gad did not make mention of any of his sources, or how he came to the conclusion of what he has said.
i wrote the above paragraph in an article on nov 27, 1994. on aug 25, 2007, i wrote: abdul hamid al-zindani, chairman of the quran scientific miracles committee affiliated to the organization of the islamic conference, and president of a university in sana’a, announced that he had discovered a vaccine for aids, and it was tried on a number of patients and had proved to be effective in eliminating the disease – the area where the laboratories of the entire world have failed.
he said his medication shrinks the bacterium that causes the disease and is made up of natural elements extracted from herbs, and that the research he conducted with his aides was based on faith in what was stated in our books.
al-zindani refused to disclose the components of the drug for fear that the secret will be stolen by the infidels. the negative impact of what is said by those people is not less than what was previously mentioned by the former kuwaiti minister of awqaf, abdullah al-ma’atouq, during the opening of the ‘scientific miracles’ conference, which was held in kuwait several years ago.
he reportedly said before a gathering of elite statesmen, clerics, and others that our scholars have contributed to making 14 scientific discoveries documented with the accurate method to be an addition to today’s civilization and a contribution to solving the most difficult problems facing humanity and threatening its existence.
he added that they have reached positive results, whether laboratory or applied in diseases such as aids and that joy will overwhelm us with such distinguished scientific success in treating this disease and other diseases such as lung cancer, hepatitis, and diabetes, type 1. after all these years, no one in the world has, of course, heard the name of a single aids patient, cancer, diabetes or hepatitis that has been cured by these claimants.
i did not want to write about the topic again had it not been for the happy news about the professor of medical biochemistry. jassem al-hassan related to his discovery of a medicinal substance that eliminates diabetes from its roots and cures patients with pancreatic cancer, which is the most dangerous.
dr. al-hassan says that he manages from kuwait the stages of development and experiments of discoveries from the most important medical centers globally, adding that the kuwait foundation for the advancement of sciences (kfas) has adopted his discovery and sent it to international arbitrators before starting to fund it.
he explained that the beginning of the discovery of his substance was through its implementation on some tumors in the eyes and feet that were completely cured, avoiding eradication, pointing out that all laboratory results in the largest international centers confirmed the importance of his discovery and considered it a precedent.
al-hassan mentioned that this discovery will raise the name of kuwait at the international medical forums, stressing that it has cured some diabetic foot diseases which other medicines had failed to, and promised that the discovered material will provide humanity with the greatest scientific achievement.
it is to be noted that dr. al-hassan has received two gold medals for two inventions: the first for treating stubborn wounds and ulcers, and the second for treating some types of back pain and nerve inflammation, through materials extracted from the catfish, in addition to 3 other international awards.
