The flying bird in a cage

people who have a conscience say the last interpellation and the subsequent grilling by mp adel al dhamki of the former minister of social affairs were terrible and by all measures unconstitutional.
as expected, all fundamentalist forces supported al-dhamki because if they did not support him that would mean opening the coffers of ali baba, revealing the fate of billions of dinars that have been collected by the charity committees, in addition to revealing their secrets which would not be in their interest, and therefore it was necessary to harness all powers and sharpen the knives, to get rid of the minister for the benefit of these associations.
here i assert that all the accusations leveled against the former minister pertaining to her attitude towards gays, the opening of bars, the issue of headscarves, and that she had posted offensive tweets against the kingdom of bahrain if they were true, were nothing but to pull wool over the eyes because the size of the bird in the cage that laid golden eggs for them is much bigger.
according to the testimonies of the brotherhood and salaf and others, kuwait is the last remaining chicken on the barn that lays the golden eggs. it was not surprising that the salaf and muslim brotherhood parties agreed, not only in their stand against a minister who would inevitably have harmed them if she had continued in her position, but also standing against me personally, and i am a mere pen holder and a columnist, as they hired attorneys and consultants and filed cases on the pretext that i and alqabas newspaper have offended their reputation.
a former official in at the ministry of social affairs says there are charities that have not provided the ministry any financial data for years, and that they follow the brotherhood and salaf, some of whom appear on the list of terrorists. it is said every official who tried to raise the case was “advised” to leave the situation as it is, and not to write off these associations, because that means not only ‘choking one of the hens which every day lays the golden egg, but because of the matter of great abuse of those who are really behind these societies.
the interrogation was actually much larger than the trivial axes, and perhaps from this point of view, the former minister took advantage of her last days in the ministry and issued a decision that ‘obliges’ these charities and public benefit societies to issue a detailed report on the results of their financial and administrative work within a maximum of 30 days, at the end of each year to be published on the ministry’s website for everyone to see.
i believe that the forces benefiting from the status quo will fight this decision, and seek to abolish it under the pretext of lack of availability of the ministry’s website or insufficient personnel or other excuses in order to keep a tight lid on their activities which have been ongoing for the past more than half a century.
we wish all those who have a conscience, including his highness the prime minister, and the acting minister of social affairs, will insist on adhering to this decision, canceling it means the continuation of the disaster and the continuation of violations and the continued siphoning of donation funds to unknown destinations.
