‘Reaching power is the goal’
most people spend their lives believing they are the defenders of their ideas, unaware that they are actually defending the ideas of others that have been planted in their minds.
we are the children of our environment and society, and what we believe in is what we have learned at school or at home, and what we have picked up on the street as we play or get along with our peers.
a majority have spent all their life without ever trying to wonder why they hate a certain food, or certain people, or a way of life, they just hate and that is all. the reason for this may be more often than not unknown. however, knowing the reason requires making an effort to confirm the opinion and remove doubt, or change it, but the lack of willingness to dive into the deep sea of suspicion, unaware that modern western civilization, the heir of the greek civilization, was built on suspicion. it is the beginning of the emergence of truth.
the late british philosopher, mathematician bertrand russell says humans tend to believe in beliefs that fit their desires. the cruel person in his words and actions believes in a cruel divine power, and he uses his beliefs to justify his cruelty. as for a peaceful and good person, he believes in a good and peaceful lord, and ignorant or backward societies do not constitute any danger to others, except when they see that their ignorance is sacred
one of the members of the muslim brotherhood in egypt, bahjat saber, says in a recorded tape directed at the egyptians that everyone who feels hot or cold should go to the prosecution or the court or to any soldier on the road and shake hands with everyone and embrace them.
he also has to shake hands with businessmen, especially if he is already infected with the coronavirus, to preoccupy the regime with the problem. this infected person has sworn under oath to take revenge on the system and infect as many people as possible.
in another recorded tape, broadcast by the brotherhood fugitive media man moataz matar stated from turkey that the (egyptians) say: our history and our civilization date back to seven thousand years, but the truth is that the hyksos occupied and ruled egypt from 1648 to 1540 bc, meaning for 140 years. the assyrians occupied egypt for 16 years, and the persians occupied egypt for 120 years, and they returned again and conquered egypt, and that those who threw them out were not the egyptians but the greeks, who occupied their place for two years, and this was during the time of alexander
then the greek ptolemies came and completed the occupation of egypt for 300 years, and the romans, led by octavius, drove out the ptolemies while the ‘egyptians remained helplessly watching’. as for the romans, they occupied egypt for 360 years. after that, the ‘great people of egypt did not awaken from their slumber to say ‘no to the romans’. rather, the byzantines came and drove out the romans and ruled for 310 years.
however, the great people did not wake up until the islamic ‘conquest’ that drove out the occupier, and this means egypt for 1,255 years were watching the forces and armies occupying their land, and it was the only country that was ruled by the ‘mamaleek’ or the slaves, whose reign lasted 267 years, and after that, they continued as leaders of the egyptian army for another four hundred years, then the french came and occupied egypt for two years, then the british came and occupied it for 72 years, then we asked muhammad ali, the turk to rule over us.
this is what is said by moataz and this is an offense to his country not in the context of historical narration that we would accept and explain such mistakes and impudence. rather, he said it out of his hatred of the regime, and his willingness to discredit him, so that the muslim brotherhood could return to rule in egypt.
this is to be expected from a brotherhood member whose heart is filled with hatred and here he does not differ from his supreme guide who said: “toz fi masr”; ‘toz’ is a derogatory expression that is used here to denote that egypt is worthless, and the other who preferred indonesian as egypt’s president than an egyptian copt.
the people that control religious parties in kuwait are not different from the forms of these people; reaching power is their goal. to be continued.....
