The Ten Commandments

the ten commandments in judaism, and subsequently in christianity are fundamental, form the core of the faith, and are binding so that no one can be exempted from adhering to these commandments.
they are considered the essence of the basic laws of human behavior in life. jews and christians take them as a reference in order to learn how to act morally in life.
part of these commandments are ‘do not kill’, ‘do not commit adultery’, ‘do not steal’, do not give false testimony’, ‘do not desire your relative’s family’, ‘do not desire the wife of your relative’ ...etc
this is the theological side of life. as for the civil aspect, the issue of aging and forgetting many things, there are ‘ten commandments’ that the elderly or the seniors must know and follow as much as possible, and they are:
1. to talk a lot with oneself. a person needs to consult other wise men, experts, and elderly people in matters of life, and since he has great experiences, there is nothing better than consulting himself especially since no one wants to benefit from his experiences, especially children and grandchildren.
2. the need to give up the illusion of strong memory and that you will remember this or that but everything must be written down.
3. the necessity to unleash whatever actions the body finds necessary to do. reaching an advanced stage of life gives a person a great margin of freedom that he can use to get rid of any symptoms he feels, without embarrassment or concern for the opinions of others.
4. forgive the idiots around you, co-exist with them, and do not argue with them, because there is no time for such nonsense.
5. do not tell anyone that he/she looks much older than his age, because you look like this in the eyes of others, and much older than your age.
6. try to delay aging by getting up early and starting your day happy.
7. remember, you don’t have time to learn how to act tactfully, say whatever comes to your mind, turn your back, and go your way.
8. do not forget to visit the toilet before leaving the house, or any other place where you have been for a long time.
9. do not forget that yesterday was for you a date and make tomorrow a mystery so that life looks exciting.
10. look at every day you live as a gift, so enjoy unwrapping the gift box and feel happy to see the new day.
